SUMMARY:100 min of Facilitation: On Endings...
DESCRIPTION:\nAs facilitators\, we're often invited to help groups start in
itiatives\, figure out how to deal with complex problems and situations. W
e usually pour our heart and soul into designing and facilitating a worksh
op that will allow the group to reach the best outcome.\nBut what happens
next? Sometimes we will hear about the impact of our work years\, if not d
ecades later. Sometimes nothing will happen at all and we may wonder what
was it all about...\n\nAs facilitators\, we provide spaces for people to w
ork on topics\, and our sessions are usually designed from start to finish
. Providing closure to participants is important in order to move on. But
what if we\, as facilitators\, do not provide closure? What if we don't he
ar the stories of what happened after our interventions?\n\nThis workshop
will let you explore one of the darker side of facilitation. The one we ha
ve less control over: how we deal with closure\, or the absence of it.\nRe
 gister here\n\n
