DESCRIPTION:Every group brings stories into the room. They shape how people
  make sense of experiences\, connect with one another and imagine new poss
 ibilities. Working with stories is one of the most rewarding aspects of fa
 cilitation\, and one that calls for thoughtfulness\, reflection and care.\
 n\nExplore the opportunities\, challenges and ethics of facilitating with 
 stories. Drawing on insights from Facilitating with Stories: Ethics\, Ref
 lective Practice and Philosophies\, this interactive session explores how 
 facilitators can create the conditions for respectful\, reflective story w
 ork while thoughtfully navigating power\, meaning-making and the responsib
 ilities that accompany story work.\n\nTogether we'll explore practical way
 s of working with stories that deepen connection\, learning and dialogue. 
 Through discussion\, shared reflection and practical examples\, we'll cons
 ider the ethical questions that arise whenever stories are invited into a 
 group and reflect on how these ideas can strengthen our own facilitation p
 ractice with greater confidence\, purpose and integrity.\n\nThe editors of
  the book: \n\nAndrew Rixon is a leadership researcher\, coach and educat
 or who has authored and co-edited five books on storytelling\, including t
 he forthcoming Narrative Leadership Development: Storytelling for Navigat
 ing Challenging Times.\n\nCathryn Lloyd is the Founder and Director of Ma
 verick Minds\, an experienced facilitator\, coach and creativity specialis
 t who works with leaders\, teams and organisations to create positive chan
 ge through meaningful conversations and creative practice. She is co-edito
 r of Facilitating with Stories: Ethics\, Reflective Practice and Philosop
 hies\, co-author of The Story Cookbook and Facilitating with Stories\, 
 and author of Seriously Playful Creativity. Her work explores how stories
 \, images and creative approaches can deepen learning\, reflection and col
 laboration. She holds a Doctorate in Creative Industries.\n\nBooks edited
