DESCRIPTION:Join Julia Slay of Facilitation 101 and Kyra Hall-Gelly of Neur
 oTribe UK for a short\, light-hearted\, interactive\, thought-provoking in
 troduction to trauma-informed facilitation skills.\n\nThey will share some
  of the key principles of a trauma-informed approach and will be invited t
 o select two principles to explore in practice in small groups. Through 'o
 pposite thinking'\, roleplay\, observation and discussion participants wil
 l have the opportunity to understand more deeply how their chosen principl
 es show in the thoughts\, feelings and behaviours of the groups they work 
 with.\n\nTo foster trust and collaboration we ask that all participants ha
 ve their cameras on for this session and are in a quiet\, private space to
  protect everyone's safety and confidentiality.\n\n----\n\nKyra is CEO of 
 NeuroTribe UK and is a BACP registered integrative counsellor using the ar
 ts. Kyra has lectured in Counselling and Psychotherapy at various universi
 ties and is a former member of the Croydon SEND Parent Forum Steering Grou
 p. Previous to becoming a therapist Kyra worked with vulnerable children a
 nd young people for over 15 years with schools\, pupil referral units\, yo
 uth groups\, youth offending teams\, colleges\, social enterprises and you
 th arts projects as a youth worker\, welfare and enrichment department hea
 d\, and mental health worker. She has a PG Cert. in Counselling\, an Advan
 ced Diploma in the Therapeutic Application of the Arts\, and a Level 7 Dip
 loma in Supervision.\n\nJulia is the founder and director of Facilitation 
 101\, a learning and development organisation that builds the skills of fa
 cilitators across the UK and beyond. Julia has over 15 years’ experience
  designing and leading workshops\, strategy sessions and learning programm
 es. She’s facilitated everything from away days and team development wor
 kshops to strategy retreats and international events. Julia previously hel
 d senior roles in the charity and public sectors\, leading work on policy\
