SUMMARY:Learn & Connect | Polarity thinking in facilitation: Design beyond
 either/or
DESCRIPTION:Polarization is increasingly shaping teams\, cultures\, and fac
ilitated spaces. Yet many tensions are not problems to solve\, but polarit
ies to navigate\; interdependent values with both strengths and risks.\n\n
In this interactive IAF Learn &amp\; Connect session\, participants will e
xplore polarity thinking as a practical approach to navigating conflict an
 d group dynamics. Through hands-on activities and conversation\, we’ll e
xperiment with polarity mapping and Deep Democracy tools to practice refra
ming divisive issues into constructive “both/and” dialogue. Participan
ts will leave with practical tools they can immediately apply in facilitat
ion\, leadership\, and conflict navigation. -\n\n-----\n\n Cate Czerwinski
is a Berlin-based facilitator and trainer with over 15 years of experienc
e designing workshops that help teams communicate better\, align around sh
ared goals\, and navigate the dynamics that get in the way. She works with
  organizations across Europe\, including Zalando\, Siemens\, Lego\, and De
utsche Bank. Her work is increasingly focused on conflict navigation\, hel
ping individuals and teams move through disagreement with more clarity and
less damage. This session on polarity thinking grew out of her ongoing ex
ploration of how either/or thinking limits what's possible in the room and
in the world.\n\nFlorentine Versteeg is an international facilitator\, le
arning designer and coach specializing in intercultural collaboration and
strategic transformation. Originally from the Netherlands and shaped by ye
ars living and working in Brazil\, she designs and facilitates conferences
\, learning journeys\, and multi-stakeholder dialogues across Latin Americ
a\, Africa\, Asia\, and Europe. Her work focuses on helping diverse groups
navigate complexity\, build trust across cultures\, align around shared p
urpose\, and turn values into meaningful action.\n\nRegister here
