DESCRIPTION:Join this session with Eva Meyers to uncover what we all think 
 constitutes a “difficult” conversation\, then look at how we\, or the 
 groups we are working with\, can navigate these moments while considering 
 lenses of power and positionality.\nEva Jo Meyers is an author\, professio
 nal facilitator\, and educational consultant who specializes in participa
 nt-centered learning. She is best known for her book\, Raise the Room\, w
 hich provides practical strategies for creating inclusive\, interactive\, 
 and joyful group environments. Drawing on her background as a Fulbright S
 cholar and her leadership roles in San Francisco’s educational district
 s\, she now focuses on training organizations to move away from traditiona
 l lecture-style meetings in favour of high-engagement\, collaborative faci
 litation.\nCome prepared to draw on a variety of frameworks - and your own
  personal experience.\nThe goal is to see if we can think differently\, or
  help our groups think differently\, about how to approach these conversat
