SUMMARY:Personal Leadership: Self and the Facilitator Identity (online)
DESCRIPTION:This session explores personal leadership as a foundation for f
acilitator identity and effectiveness. In a rapidly changing and interconn
ected world\, facilitators are called to lead from within—cultivating aw
areness\, presence\, and intentionality in how they engage with others.\n\
nParticipants will be introduced to six personal leadership practices: att
ending to judgment\, attending to emotion\, attending to physical sensatio
n\, cultivating stillness\, engaging ambiguity\, and aligning with vision.
Through guided reflection and interactive dialogue\, participants will ex
amine how these practices influence their role as facilitators and their a
bility to navigate complexity\, difference\, and uncertainty.\n\nThe sessi
on emphasizes leading from the inside out\, supporting participants in str
engthening self-awareness\, clarifying values\, and aligning their facilit
ation approach with purpose. Participants will leave with practical insigh
ts and strategies to enhance their effectiveness\, deepen their facilitato
r identity\, and apply personal leadership practices in both personal and
professional contexts.\n\nFacilitator: Dr. Tessa Sutton\n\nHosted by the I
AF Indiana-Chicago Chapter. Open to IAF members and non-members\, includin
g facilitators\, educators\, and community leaders interested in personal
 leadership and facilitator development.\n\nRegister here
