The International Association of Facilitators (IAF) Americas Conference 2026 in Monterrey was more than an event. It was a living, breathing space of connection, courage, and possibility.

Over three inspiring days, facilitators, coaches, educators, and leaders from across the Americas and around the world gathered under the theme “Facilitating on the Edge”, exploring the evolving frontiers of our practice, where human connection, complexity, culture, and technology meet.

Through powerful workshops, thought-provoking plenaries, and deeply human conversations, participants didn’t just learn new tools; they expanded how they see themselves as facilitators in a rapidly changing world. Ideas were challenged, perspectives widened, and new collaborations began to take shape across languages, cultures, and disciplines.

What made this gathering truly special wasn’t only the richness of the program, but the generosity in the room: the willingness to listen deeply, to experiment, to stay with complexity, and to co-create what comes next for our field.

As we close this chapter, the energy continues. It lives on in every conversation sparked, every practice refined, and every new connection carried forward into communities and organisations around the world.

If you missed this gathering, or if you’re already feeling the pull of what’s next, we invite you to stay close. Explore upcoming IAF conferences and events on our website, and join a global community of practitioners continuing to explore and expand the edges of facilitation together.

Because the edge is not a place we arrive. It is a place we keep discovering, together. 💜
