A global celebration of the power of facilitation is on the horizon—and we’re looking for two IAF members to help take Facilitation Week 2027 further, wider, and deeper.
We’re seeking two Facilitation Week Leads to help shape and coordinate the global celebration from now through February/early March 2027.
This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with IAF members, chapters, regions, partner organisations and the global IAF team to build a truly global programme that showcases the value and impact of facilitation.
As a Facilitation Week Lead, you will:
- Develop and coordinate a communication and project plan for Facilitation Week 2027.
- Build relationships with synergistic organisations and invite them to host facilitation-focused sessions for their communities or for the wider IAF community.
- Moderate events submitted to the Facilitation Week website, ensuring that only facilitation-related events are approved.
- Help plan a selection of global feature events in collaboration with the IAF Board and Executive Director.
- Support IAF chapters and regions in promoting their Facilitation Week activities, uploading events and capturing valuable information and insights after events take place.
- Work closely with the IAF Community Manager and IAF Global Office to develop and implement social media content, member communications and mailings.
- Collect and analyse data from across regions and the Facilitation Week website to create meaningful insights and a report that can inform future celebrations.
The role will require an investment of approximately 1 hour per day (6–7 hours per week) and may become more intensive in the period immediately before and during Facilitation Week.
