As facilitators we are always supporting others to grow and change. This conference is a space for your own development. A chance to meet others you can learn from, look at different tools and techniques to improve your skills, and to grow your business.
Everyone interested in facilitation is welcome, whether you are brand new to this work or have been doing it for years, whether you work in-house or externally and whether you facilitate some or all of the time.

The International Association of Facilitators (IAF) Africa Region is excited to announce its upcoming conference, which will explore the transformative role of group process facilitation in driving innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship across Africa.

IAF Oceania | Facilitation in action
It’s all about creating the space for you!
14 – 16 October 2026 | Geelong, Australia
It’s more akin to a delightful combo of conference, summit, festival and celebration of facilitation. All in the one place over 5 days of vibrancy, innovation and learning.
The main conference will be held on 14-16 October, book-ended either side by a range of professional development workshops and professional accreditation.
Leading into the event you’ll be able to attend a series of online taster sessions for you to sample a few enticing entrees from the menu. You’ll also have the chance to connect with some of the fantastic people (aside from yourself!) who’ll be attending.
As a conference delegate, you’ll have direct access to a range of resources provided by session facilitators and attendees. You’ll also be able to connect with other participants to help you to build your networks and grow your professional facilitation practice for positive change.

At the threshold: From attunement to co-creating resonance

This gathering brings together educators, leaders, and change practitioners to explore how facilitation helps us work with complexity, diversity, and transformation in a rapidly shifting world.
The pre-conference workshops will take place on 29 – 30 October 2026, followed by the conference on 31 October – 1 November 2026.
Proposals are welcomed across areas including complexity, relationships, inner development, innovation, and social impact.
We invite you to submit your proposals by 31 March 2026, and acceptance notifications will be shared on 17 May 2026.
