At the Threshold: From Attunement to Co-Creating Resonance
As global economic and cultural shifts accelerate, complexity and diversity increasingly define our era. We stand at the threshold of multiple global transformations: geopolitical realignment, technological disruption, generational change, fluid identities, and the exponential expansion of AI. Facilitation has permeated every domain of practice to become an essential enabler that fosters resonance amid contradictions, weaves harmony across differences, and empowers practitioners across all fields.
Our invitation extends far beyond professional facilitators—we welcome all practitioners who integrate facilitation into their work. This is not a conventional conference, but a collective act of co-creation bringing together experienced facilitators, organizational leaders, educators, system practitioners, and change-makers from across Asia and beyond. We are not merely soliciting workshop proposals; we are cultivating the living learning ecosystem of IAF Asia 2026 and co-creating a distinct Landscape of Asian Facilitation with you. We invite you to take your place within this evolving landscape of practice.
– Pre-conference days: 29 – 30 October 2026 | Full-day workshops
– Asia Conference days: 31 October – 1 November 2026 | 120/180 minute concurrent workshops
The conference architecture intentionally integrates more than 40 workshops across five thematic streams. Sessions vary in scale and format to balance deep immersion, cross-pollination of perspectives, and quality engagement.

What we value extends beyond the content of your session to the thinking, stance, and design integrity behind it: intentional design for learning, exploration of facilitation frontiers, response to global challenges, commitment to participant transformation, and above all, embodiment of IAF’s ethical values and core competencies.
Proposals will undergo a curated selection process to ensure professional integrity, diversity of voices, and architectural coherence across streams and formats. Each selected session will be positioned within a carefully balanced learning structure.
We cordially invite practitioners willing to explore, experiment, and contribute to the evolving professional frontier of facilitation. Bring your practice and insights to Hangzhou, and gather with fellow practitioners from across the globe. Together, we move from attunement to co-creating resonance, and to harmony in the making — leaving an indelible Asian mark on the future of facilitation.
