The IAF Asia Conference 2026 is pleased to offer scholarships for facilitators from developing countries across Asia. This initiative aims to support emerging facilitation talent and foster the continued growth of the facilitation profession throughout the region.
A total of six scholarships will be awarded, with one recipient selected from each of the following IAF chapters:
- India
- Indonesia
- Malaysia
- Philippines
- Thailand
- Vietnam
What scholarship recipients receive
Each selected recipient will receive:
- Full conference ticket to the IAF Asia Conference 2026, held on 31 October – 1 November 2026, in Hangzhou, China
- Accommodation support for three nights in Hangzhou (30 October – 2 November), arranged as either a homestay or twin-share hotel stay, subject to availability and upon request.
Who should apply
Ideal candidates are those who:
- Are aged 20 to 40
- Have at least one year of facilitation practice experience
- Both IAF members and non-members are encouraged to apply
- Demonstrate a clear passion for facilitation and a commitment to the professional development of the field
- Show active engagement in their local IAF community and/or a strong dedication to its future growth
- Are willing and available to take volunteer tasks in support of the conference.

Following a comprehensive review process, the final scholarship recipients will be announced on the IAF website on 31 May 2026.
About the IAF Asia Conference 2026
The 25th IAF Asia Facilitation Conference 2026 will take place in Hangzhou, China, from 31 October to 1 November 2026.
Rooted in the theme ”(和) HE | Harmony in the Making,” the conference explores the journey from attunement to co-creating resonance at a time of of global transformation. The program includes full-day workshops (pre-conference on 29 – 30 October) and concurrent sessions designed to push the frontiers of facilitation while embodying IAF’s core values.
