We’re looking for volunteers from across our global community who have the relevant expertise, time and interest to join our Global Summit Advisory Committee and help bring our Global Summit, planned for late 2027, to life.

We’re bringing together people with different skills, perspectives, experiences and regional connections to help shape the Summit and provide valuable advice along the way. Whether you’re an experienced IAF member, a newer member looking for a way to contribute, or someone with a particular area of expertise to share, we’d love to hear from you.

How can you contribute?

We’re currently looking for people interested in a range of Lead roles, including:

• Project Manager: Coordinating the overall project, timelines and delivery, including finance oversight
• Finance Advisor: Supporting budgeting and financial tracking
• Registration Advisor: Overseeing participant registration and related processes
• Sponsorship Advisor: Developing sponsorship opportunities and reaching out to potential partners
• Proposal Evaluation Advisor: Coordinating proposal review and evaluation
• Program Advisor: Supporting the development and coordination of the programs
• Marketing & Communications Advisor: Helping shape and deliver communications and promotional activities

You don’t need to have your role completely figured out, either. You can express interest in a specific Advisor role, join the committee in a general capacity, or tell us where you feel your skills and experience could be most useful.

Building a truly global team

Regional representation is particularly important to us. We’re looking for people who can bring knowledge of and connections within their regions and communities, especially when it comes to developing sponsorship and partnership opportunities.

What kind of commitment is involved?

We know that everyone has different schedules and capacity. The expression of interest form will give you an opportunity to tell us how much time you could realistically contribute, so we can build the committee around people’s availability, strengths and interests.

Most importantly, we’re looking for people who are ready to collaborate, take initiative and help move things forward.
