Change is part of the life of every organisation. It is not always easy, especially when we have a long history, with people, knowledge, experience and relationships built over many years. At the same time, staying relevant means being open to what is changing around us and to what our profession and members will need in the future.

Over the past year, our Association has been going through a period of development and change. The Board is committed to leading this development thoughtfully, with care for our people, our professional legacy and the sustainability of the Association in a changing world.

The intention is not to change for the sake of changing. It is to build on what has been created over the past 30 years, while welcoming new perspectives, new ideas and new generations of facilitators. This means listening to each other, learning from our experience, making informed decisions and being ready to move forward.

As facilitators, we know that meaningful change requires both openness and responsibility. We may not always agree, but we can continue listening, learning from one another and working towards a shared purpose.

Thank you for being part of this community and for everything you contribute to it. Together, we can honour what has been built, learn from where we are today, and continue building an Association that is relevant, connected and ready for the future.
