Conflict is a natural part of group work, but how we notice it, respond to it, and help groups move through it can make all the difference.

Join IAF New York for a 90-minute peer learning session on Managing Group Conflict, facilitated by Deb Seidman.

Rather than a traditional workshop, this session will be an opportunity for participants to share real-world challenges, experiences, and practical tactics for recognizing and navigating conflict in groups. Together, we’ll explore what works, what doesn’t, and the different approaches facilitators use when group tension starts to emerge.

Come ready to share your experiences, learn from fellow facilitators, and exchange practical ideas you can take back to your own practice.

All are welcome, including non-IAF members.

How to join: RSVP through the IAF New York Meetup group. To help keep the community safe and relevant, new participants will first be asked to complete a short survey about their facilitation experience and interests. Once approved as a group member, you’ll be able to RSVP to the event and receive the Zoom link.
