Malaysian designer Bravo Looi brings “Harmony in the Making” to life through minimalist golden lines and profound symbolism.
We are proud to unveil the official key visual for the IAF Asia Conference 2026, set to take place in Hangzhou, China, between 31 October – 1 November.
Following a competitive blind selection process featuring top designers across the region, the panel unanimously selected the evocative work of Bravo Looi.
Looi’s design perfectly encapsulates the conference theme – HE | Harmony in the Making: Standing at the Threshold, From Attunement to Co-Creating Harmony – by visualising the concept that harmony is not a static state, but a dynamic, ongoing creative process.
About the visual identity
The key visual is a layered composition of three iconic elements, delivering both powerful aesthetics and thematic depth.
- The Deconstructed “HE (和)”: At the heart of the design lies a deconstructed Chinese character for harmony. The vertical strokes of the “grain” radical symbolise the critical threshold for growth, while the open form of the “mouth” represents the dialogue of co-creation.
- The Topography of Connection: The flowing golden lines at the base are not merely abstract; they subtly trace the landscape of Hangzhou. This element symbolises the shared journey of the global facilitation community – navigating diversity and maintaining dynamic balance.
- A Symbolic Color System: Royal purple and gold anchor the palette, representing the wisdom forged through attunement. A supporting palette of vibrant hues brings forward the diverse voices that converge to create a rich tapestry of collaboration.

Bravo Looi is a seasoned coach, facilitator, and digital strategist based in Malaysia. With nearly two decades of experience, including serving as Former President of the Malaysian Association of Facilitators. Looi bridges the gap between strategy and human dynamics. His work across diverse industries and multicultural environments infuses his design with a unique global perspective, making him the ideal artist to interpret the concept of “Harmony” for the Asian facilitation community.
“This key visual is far more than a logo”, says Looi. “It is a visual manifesto rooted in collective harmony”. It invites facilitators worldwide to step into the “threshold” space and engage in the co-creative process.
